Engine sizes, how about barrel part no's


Have being playing around with a few motors latley(you now how it is when you have three of them)cars that is!!! and have noticed that most barrels have a part number in raised numbers near the case end,i know this would be a bit of a job to see this on a type 4 motor but hey if some one out thier has a reference for these numbers type1 & type4 share it with all of us.:):):)

Only marking I can find on 2L barrels and what I'm 90% certain are KS brand is "V4".
My other barrels are hopefully getting bored for 95mm pistons.
