Are Kombi towbars interchangeable???
I've been looking for a towbar for my 1969 baywindow Kombi in Perth. One has come up but from a 1967 splittie Kombi. The owner thinks the rear
ends of 67s & 69s are the same so the towbar will fit. Just wondering if anyone on the forum can confirm either way before I go for a drive.
Thanks

I think you will find they are different. Most Kombi tow bars bolt onto the rear chassis rails so get under yours and take a measurement so you can
compare with the one your buying

My 69 kombi rear chassis rails are 1040mm (outer edge to outer edge). Could someone measure the same on their 67 for me please? thanks
