do you mean as in the outer skin which fits on the front and rear of a beetle ? It is the part between the guards and is usually spot wleded to the
inner parts of the body. ??/

The clips are the bits under the hood and boot?? lids. The bits between the guards at the front and back
Dunno why he reconds they are particularly good. Maybe had trouble getting them

yeah the front and rear panels.
had trouble trying to find a good front one recently.
just thought it might be an asset.
