There are not many VW's left in Ireland, but did you know that Ireland was the first country to assemble beetles outside germany from CKD kits.
If you get down Mayo way I have a beetle that you can have a blast in.

Thats probably because the Irish started putting engines in the wrong end of English cars, so the Germans figured they'd be a natural to assemble
