Two dead in truck, van crash
February 7, 2004
A WOMAN and a man died when a truck hit a stationary van on the NSW north coast today, police said.
The truck was on the Lismore to Bangalow Road at Lagoon Grass, near Lismore, when it hit a stationary Kombi about 5.40am (AEDT).
A female passenger in the Kombi and the male truck driver were killed, police said.
The road was expected to be closed until lunchtime.
Investigations were continuing into the circumstances of the crash, police said.

. how sad. you so rarely hear of crashes involving kombi's that you
sorta forget that they happen. i saw a crash involving an Urvan a couple of months ago and that scared me enough.

Yeah,,
I'm in Lismore and just heard about it,,
White Kombi with Vic plates,, pulled over on the side of the road to change a tyre,, collected by a truck,, just near boatharbour reserve bridge,, guy
changing tyre was ok but the rest,,,,,,
