Two dead in truck, van crash

February 7, 2004
:(
A WOMAN and a man died when a truck hit a stationary van on the NSW north coast today, police said.

The truck was on the Lismore to Bangalow Road at Lagoon Grass, near Lismore, when it hit a stationary Kombi about 5.40am (AEDT).

A female passenger in the Kombi and the male truck driver were killed, police said.

The road was expected to be closed until lunchtime.

Investigations were continuing into the circumstances of the crash, police said.
