What shocks should I use to improve the road holding of my standard '76 Beetle?Monroes,KYBs etc?Anybody got a second hand 009 dizzy or the price

I prefer oil shocks for the front & kyb Gas for the rear.
IMHO: The front of a VW is too light for gas shocks.
But if You prefer use KYB gas at the front & rear...
Some people on this forum like to spend BIG Money and get Koni adjustable gas shocks... very expensive...
