Little Sister!

Well I just got my Bug body back from the paint and panel Man, and although I was going to finish it before unveiling it, Here it is.....
The restorer (Hairy) has named it "Little Sister" and I think that name will stick.
Hairy has done a full "PanOff" Resto and a great job he has done too. He even raised the front seat belt mounts to save my collarbone if we have a crash, and even more importantly to stop the belt slipping off the shoulder as they are prone to do. This will be going on the restored Pan I got from Craig Torrens, with all the crome replaced, whitewalls and a DP 1600 motor
the car was last registered in 1980 and has only 80k original on it there was little rust and minimal wear, Having spent 24 years in a garage, waiting for Me! It was too good not to do a full job on it. Now comes the fun, part putting it all back together....I hope to have it ready for the Nationals but as I wont be rushing it, It may have to make it's Debut at Nambucca
