How to finish the inside of a replacment panel?
Hello
I recently had a panel beater replace the section at the back of the bonnet appeture as mine had rusted out.
He used a section I gave him (off a freinds wreck) and also fitted the steel strip for clamping the rubber. It looks quite good- but definately not
show quality, which is fine for my daily driver.
However they took the panel back to bare metal and only painted the outside!! So the inside is still bare metal. It's hidden so any paint I
splash on won't be seen.
I'm wondering what is best to protect the panel from the inside ie any paint or something in particular. AND should I use a seam seal or
something over the welding
Thanks
Jeremy

If your not worried about looks brush some galmet on it and over the seams too. Then you could seam sealer it over the galmet.I think you can get other
colours in galmet(other than the original silver gal colour) like black.
