Just got back from WSID
Just got back from WSID and to my disappointment not one VW there. Just lots of rex’s and late model crap, we have to show them what the mighty VW’s
can do!!!

yes a bit sad last street meet...- but it did look like rain & the smart VW owners havent been caught out yet.
Just wait till next week without the threatening rain.!!!!!I'm sure there will be mega / huge / numerous or at least one VW.

I know its a bit picky but I'd hate to get mixed up with the stuff next door.

Might get out tonight but looks like rain not that I mind seeing what day it is. Did like the old skool guys what about tonys Corolla ran lika a dog
and pulled a 10 sec pass.

I'm out there every Wed. sitting in the control tower.
Dreaming of putting together something quick.
When my oval is all finished with blower, it should run low 15's...........its just a street car.(low boost-mild cam etc)

The report I got was a 10.88 @ 126?
That was chocked with a muffler for the db limit.

had one of them super Trap Muffler thingys on.
Very Quiet - - -Too Quiet.!
I think they managed to remove a plate or two later on ...
still too quiet.
I wish I had asked the Noise meter guy for a level - but did not want to draw his attention to the car - fearing
an infringment.

I made that the night before, man it was a bit retricted even with all the plates in. The more plates the louder and less restricted it is. (more
little gaps between the plates for the gasses to exit) less plates = less gaps and quieter.

yeah the super trap was very restrictive so we took it off after the first run....
Finally got into the 10s with 2 good solid passes and under the noise limit as well.

Excellent Dave!!! I have been run off my feet all week. First time on here in a couple of days I missed that night had to do family $hit. Seems like I
missed a good night. I'm sorting an electronic distributor and carbs for my bent 8 bus once it's sorted should hook up real good.
