One of best things outta Victoria

Well as ive said before, we travelled down to Melbourne for The Day of VW on the weekend,

I must say that the Hume Highway, back to Sydney is really great untill you enter NSW.

Boris and i must have been BoReD on the way back because i decided to count the one lane sections of road way that still have to be developed in dual carriage way.

I found that there was still 8 sections left with a total of 116 Klms, with the longest section being 40 Klms, on most of these there were overtaking lanes every 5 or so Klms.

BORED hey :puke:puke:puke:puke:repuke

Thats what I call concentrating on the road!

Your ride must be a good one Dave if you can spend time doing that. I hope you were only taking mental notes otherwise I suggest you see a specialist about this.

Although I confess, I count roadkills on long trips.

Bronze

No we were writing it down n using the trip meter.

Now road kills are a different matter, if you mean fresh that morning or day then we counted about 33 on the way down n only 20 or so on the way back.

The count also include one live FOX feeding on fresh road kill.:repuke

You need to start another project my friend!

You mind need to either be occupied by you elbow, easily done at a bar but not recommended when your driving on straight roads

or

you need to be thinking where that thingy bit can fit on to the other whatsee so the doover will clear the bizzo.

Dave - Get another project - preferably a Buggy or Baja so we can share beer after a stockton / bush bashing weekend!

Speaking wasnt the problem if you have ever been in a T3 ute
there bloody noisy as you have to lean accross n talk so u can hear each other.

I was contemplating getting out the ear plugs at one stage.

Utes are like pushing a BRICK through the air there is NO aerodynamics at all. :alien

Hmm, one of the best things out of Melbourne is W.A. ! But it sounds to me like the Hume in NSW hasn't changed since I migrated - about 15 years ago! You better make sure you vote next election.
