Day of VW images

Post 'em if you got 'em:

117 images:
http://www.greebo.net/images/dovw/

Plenty of pics of people getting prizes, amongst a wide range of cars. If it looked good, I think I got a shot.

The weather:

The Car of the Show, best engine, best New Beetle:

http://www.greebo.net/images/dovw/images/Day%20of%20Volkswagen%202002%20108.jpg

http://www.greebo.net/images/dovw/images/Day%20of%20Volkswagen%202002%20102.jpg

Karmann Ghias ahoy!
http://www.greebo.net/images/dovw/images/Day%20of%20Volkswagen%202002%20025.jpg

And the obligatory Wolf image
http://www.greebo.net/images/dovw/images/Day%20of%20Volkswagen%202002%20008.jpg

So if you have a similar image collection, post about it here. I'm sure that the various club magazine editors would love to have a few images as well.

thanks,
Andrew

Yep, sorry, I didn't spend much time looking at the type 2's and it was a bit damp when I was there.

There were some nice buses, but I doubt I'd ever own one (prefer hatches).

No worries! :-) The benefits of owning a 96 MB compact flash card.

As I said, I'll get you a CD with the originals as the 600x450 images are tweaked for web display.

Hmmm Andrew, I noticed you were a bit light on bus pics.
It is good to see so many pics though.
Thanks to everyone posting them.

If you open up Photoshop and enlarge the backgrounds of the images above, adjust the contrast you will be able to make out at least 4 busses in the back ground just from the pics above so stop ya whining you lot.

...and another thing, where's all the Baja Bugs? Now I know Victoria really does suck! No baja's, thats criminal!

Okay, so I'm displaying my prejudices.

I don't like baja's except for the SuperBug ones (as SB's bite, and I don't mind them being chopped up - the ragtop 56 oval post nearly brought tears to my eyes) and I probably will never own a bus. :-)

I saw a few baja's there, but they were all street ones, I mean really what's the point of driving a baja if it's got stock suspension, and road tyres?

It's OK Bronze two of my Baja's were there. There the fake's that Pat was talking about. My Blue and white race car and my white car with the Goldie sun roof. They Both have Flying VW Emblems. I also have another Goldie soft top red Baja here at home.

My white car came second in it's class I got beaten by a Bon Trike (a three wheel motor bike).

If it wasn't for Baja's I wouldn't own a Volkswagen.
