Car carpet????

I want to do the rear of my bus in black carpet. Anyone know where to get some good cheap black stuff from or even a second hand place that sells it in Sydney, it doesn’t have to be the good stuff because it will get dirty from Mountain bikes.
Cheers

Try Clarkes rubber. they also do carpets etc. Mind you you could do it in black rubber and it will clean easier , just a thought.

They would have carpet of a type that would be waterproof at Clarke rubber.

You can get stretchy carpet, like what is used on Sub-Woofer-Maaaaayte boxes, but it attracts everything to it and clasps it so that it is very difficult to vacuum.

hey Ron,
I've used marine carpet in the back of my last few busses. pretty hard wearing and crap resistant. when it gets all crappy and muddy, I jusy hang it on the clothes line and squirt it off. works a treat.:thumb

from memory, it was like $28/m at bunnings for nice looking black carpet, but don't quote me, that sounds pretty expensive but I remember thinking at the time, shit, that's expensive...

nah I think it's cheaper than $28 bucks but depends on what width you get. They have black, grey and marine stuff there last I checked
