Engine numbers

I have a 61 Kombi with no engine. I am trying to work out the matching range of engine numbers that would be appropriate for this year model. Does anyone know of any links to sites that could assist me with this
Cheers nicko

No not yet but I am going to look at a heap of old engines on a farm up my way this weekend. If there are none I will be on the lookout for one.
