The other night (while fairly drink(it was the night of my 18th)) i managed to answer a trivia question and win myself a nice bottle of red spanish

Hi Zac.
Vespas are cool, once you get the hang of the handlebar shift mechanism, bit freaky at first, when you are used to the conventional foot change! Must
be comming into summer over there now, probably a good time to get one, and they do about 600 kays to a tank of fuel, if you take it easy.
How did you go with the school tunnel system, have you managed to find all of it?

hey robo...i'm a bit more sober now and am a bit more able to answer your questions. I haven't got much further than about 500m, and that was freaky
enough in a group. maybe i'll get further later on. yeh it just depends how much insurance is over here caus it seems to be pretty expensive. i'm
off to france in the next few days for a week so that's cool, and then it's holidays

Zac get a Vespa!!!!
I love them...wish I lived nearer the city so I could ride it to work (if I had one)
I'm reading a book called 'Vrrrm' by Peter Moore...an Aussie travel book writer...This book is about how he bought a Vespa on ebay......and went
over to Milan, Italy, to pick it up and tour around Italy on it.....Everyone love him and his bike, and it got him in many doors over there He meets lots of interesting characters through his Vespa and it occasional minor break downs:thumb.....It is making me want to go
over there and buy one
Apparently they are selling lots off overseas because of restrictions placed on them over there (some policy)....the Vespa enthusiasts are up in arms
over it....They feel it a ploy to get people buying new ones...but they are loosing the old ones off of Italies roads
Anyway....the people he mets sounds so much like us Vee Dubbers!!!!!:thumb:kiss
It's the Melbourne Comedy Festival for a couple of weeks...saw two shows last night...going to two more tonight...and a couple more during the
week....should be a good laugh I hope:rudolf

just got back from W A. surfing Margaret river and a place called lefthanders. 4-6ft and great surf. lots of great wine too. helps when the surf is

Oops...I missed the jamboree
Saw some Vee Dubbs on the road heading in that direction when I was coming home this morning...They got off the Eastern freeway and headed south down
Springvale Road...In the end I figured where they were heading:jesus:cry
That's what happens when you loose contact with the pulse of things...
OK, saw two great shows, for people in Melbourne and wanting to have a laugh,...'Black and Tran'...and 'The Kransky Sisters'
The Kransky Sisters were a scream...so see them if you have to choose...incredible show...

This is what I did today.
Had to give up on the rear cause I needed a 17mm allen key.
Just wanted to clean everything up and check the brakes and then decided I'd lower it. Seemed like a good Idea at the time.
So then I started the front lowered it two splines but found a shagged lower ball joint. But it was a fun afternoon.

I have little burns all over my upper arms and sholders from welding up the underside of the door rain gutter! Usually I only put up with pain like

Well I realised it was not really that late and went to the Jamboree...Mandie had gone!!! Lots of people had gone...but others were still waiting for the trophy presentation..all limp in the heat...

hey everyone. i went mountain biking today and in the car-park there were 4 kombis (including a nice 'hippy' one that had flowers and stuff). it's
good to see lots of mk1-3 golfs around and models that we don't get over here.

I'm amazed at the amount of people who don't know what a type3 is let alone a notch. As for being off the road how long is a piece of string.
It's 3 steps fwd to steps back.
My oldest son (who is the reason I need a new daily driver as he's buying my current one) keeps telling me to hurry up so he can have my ute.
But does he offer any help...even though he's an apprentice mechanic...no way going out this weekend....:cussing
