Yeah your right. seems like a lot of rubbish is posted these days. I think there are too many young dudes posting what they did on sat night! and not
about VW's. Thats why I started this thread for us so we could talk to each other without posting multiple threads about junk. but we talk mostly
about our resto's anyway.

anyone have anytips for swapping a 2liter kombi engine. its a manual ?
any help is MUCH needed :P

Nothing happn with the splitty at the moment.I stopped the sanding process as seeing as though theres still body work to do i thought its probably
best to wait till thats all done then sand it back when its almost time to paint.Just waitng for my funds to look a liitle better before i can take it
to the mechanics to get the mechanical aspect checked out & the brakes etc...done.
Wish i had some advice for you Pyro but i know nearly nothing about engines!!!
Whats everyones plans for Easter??I'm going down to stay 1 night at phillip Island as i have to do the market on Sunday & have another market
possibly lined up down the peninsula on Easter Monday.So its mostly work for me!!!!!!:cussing |

Hi all!!!
Sounds like you're all busy doin stuff
I've been out of touch yet again:thumb....Well had a busy schedule seeing shows at the Comedy Festival...and too tired to go online
Spent last Sunday trying to get in places for Easter with the dog but all booked out....Bob is going to a kennel for the first time in his life on
Friday...buy a nice on in the country...He had to have his vacinations....so lots of running around.
Dr L is getting a service this very minute...and I've just payed for a buy I did on ebay...57-65 VOLKSWAGEN PAINT CHIPS!!!!! Now I wont be able to
complain about the colour reproduction of pics being bad...It'll be funny if I don't like any of the colours:jesus
I hope I get them before I have to decide on the colour
Lou and I are going to Sydney for Easter...decided not to drive anywhere without the dog.....and got cheap flights and hotel...So I may get to the
Nationals on Sunday!!!

hey guys...just a quick update from the streets of oxford, england.
the next one will either be form sweden or cambridge.
i'm staing in a very nice youth hostel that is for stars and only £18.5 a night. the rooms are clean and it's very safe. been clubbing, and last
night, picked up a girl from the hostel that is over from california for a week so that was especially good night. out clubbing again tonight...see if
my luck is changing!

I'm going to Straddie tomorrow so if I don't get a chance to post till I get back everyone have a great and safe Easter.
Then it's flat chat into the Notch. Oldest son turned 17 to-day and get's his license on Tuesday(fingers crossed) so the pressure is on.
Not much to do
Finish putting brakes back together
Find and fit new guard
Rust convert and paint floors
Put interior back in
Put dash back together and finish wiring
fit bumpers
sandblast and paint rims and get new tyres fitted
get engine running sweet - get carbs rebushed.
and finally get it registered....no sweat
Lucky i've got next week off.
Somehow I still don't think it's going to be enough
