falcon brakes on vw's
I have just finished reading an article in the lastest Manx Mania on Dyno's feature buggy. The thing that got my notice is that he is using XF discs
on the rear but has still retained the wide 5 stud pattern.
Does anyone have any pictures of a similar setup and/or some info as I am keen on this idea. As I am doing a 'budget' (read make everything
myself if possible) buildup this seems an attractive and cheap setup.
thanks... Travin

I think it was Michael? at Vintage Vee Dub Supplies telling me he had falcon brakes on his car. Give him a call.

Try using the search facility as the use of Ford disc brakes has been discussed before.
Here's e few to get you started:
http://www.aussieveedubbers.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=14376 gives details of where to get the kit
http://www.aussieveedubbers.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=19319 gives a discription of what parts are required and what to
do to fit them.

Unfortunatly $1017 is way outa my bugdet- I was hoping for pictures of setups other people have made themselves as this is what I intend to do (make
the brackets etc). I have all the equipment and skills needed (i hope) just not the knowledge or expirence.
:thumb so is there anyone out there who has done this?:thumb

P.S. Particular interest is the wide 5 adaption- I guess Brad or Wes or Dyno himself are the people I should be directing these questions
too:beer:beer:beer
