Green Slip tip
After getting a blue slip for my 66 panel on friday I went down to NRMA on saturday morning for a green slip. I was expecting to pay the outrageous
$741 I found on their website but there was a very helpful guy there who said if I took out comprehensive insurance with NRMA I would be able to get a
discount bringing the cost down to $437! My next question was what happens if I cancel the comprehensive do i pay back the difference? He said that is
a business risk NRMA has to take.
We will see what happens in a few weeks time when I reinsure with someone else who can value the car at more than $1500. |

The difference is mine is a panel not a bus so it is for some reason put in the same group as utes and trucks. |

This is probably the most amusing fact forgotten by most Kombi owners.
The "reason" it is put in the same group as utes & light trucks is because IT IS A LIGHT TRUCK!!!
Somewhere along the line the Kombi fanatics go into denial that they own a commercial vehicle.
I've always refered to mine as a truck.......
Well my friends are gone & my hair is grey, I ache in the places where I used to play.
