| Magfire installation 
 
 hi all, i just bought a magfire kit for point replacement but didnt get any instructions.looks pretty simple, red to coil pos, black to coil neg,?disk
with magnets over dissy shaft and then rotor back on?condensor into tool box with points for justin?set ignition timing with strobe like usual?is this
right? any info appreciated.

 Make sure the sensor is seated properly before the disk goes on !
 I nearly had a disaster
  yeah time with a strobe as static timing with
these kits will cause big hassles

 I haven't got a magfire, I've got a Pertronix but I imagine they're fairly similar. An important bit you left out was setting the gap between the
sensor and the magnetic bit. The Pertronixs kit supplied a thin plastic feeler gauge to set the gap.

 thanks mns .hmmmmmmmm, the magnetic disk looks like its not adjustable,it just goes as far onto the shaft as it can.anyone know if the magfire needs
to set somehow like the Petronix?
