newcastle: PHAT red/white 2-tone paint 60s bug sitting low rolling on polished empi 5s
anyone seen this thing, got to be the hottest bug ive seen in the city. new paint job, red with white doors, polished empi 5s, full white interior, it
sits so low and looks so phat.
anyone who can stop and talk to them get them in the club asap!!! driver was hot too....
and has anyone seen the awesome silver and purple 63 splitty near the uni. thats a nice bus...:thumb

Yeah
The car was bought from someone in Broken hill.
Penfold has recently built a new motor for it.
You are right in saying it is one of the sweetest bugs in town.
The girl who owns it drives it most days.
She calls into work every now and then.
She's not really into the showing it of sides of things.
She says its a nice bug but nothing special.(how wrong can someone be)
I have asked her to come and check out a couple of cruises and have given her your web site address so she can look up any coming cruises.
Look for the car in the car park at the nats.
Its got a choice all white with red piping interior too.
SAAWWEEEETT Ride it is.
Still think Bens oval is the best in Newcastle.

i would agree bens got the best VW in newcastle, probably australia from wat ive seen, who could argue with an oval with porsche 5 speed and 2.8ltr
fuel injected type 4? definetly VolksWorld material. (hey, i talked to him yesterday, not coming to Nats unfortunately.)
but for MY personal tastes, this one definetly 'looks' the best by far, theres nothing like it rolling aorund newcastle (not yet anyway!) i like
'em old skool...
makes me want to tell james to fit some polished 5s to his green 57, that would look so much better, and some negative camber at the back...
was she interested in cruising or not that type of person???

I Love Bens interior as well.
Customised, Racer yet cruiser.
Also the detail on this car is sweet.
And considering this was a back yard job when you see it in person it makes the eye brows lift.
This thing is a definate magazine feature car and possibly one of if not the best customised oval in oz at the moment.
Ya jaw will drop when you guys see this car in the flesh.
Good to here Sam about the new beetle.
I see rosengreen's car is just about there as well.
Got the shits with mine today. Not happy with the paint so i'm going to do it again. Got to get it right for valla
