you will notice that in every simpsons episode there will be atleast one VW sighting.
Like tonight homer hitch-hiked in a kombi and there was a red beetle in the back ground of the earlier episode.
some people are like slinky's
they have no useful purpose
but they are fun to watch
when you push them down the stairs

His mum was a hippy, thus the kombi, plus as in the link, it would have a donut sign on it ... and donuts in it ... plus he can fit not just cans of
