Bug In weekend!!

Well it was a great weekend on the stunning sushsine coast. LOts of fun was had by all, with show and shine racing, and lots of socialiing.

Friday was set up day and drinking while we waited for people to arrive. Friday arvo was drinking, and then to the welcome dinner, with old friends meeting up again and new friends made, more drinking, watching a dvd from garry of his trip to pick up the new vw from mexico. More drinking into the nite, until the old ones (read thor and tom) got to tired and went to bed about 2am! wimps!!!

saturday was show and shine day. We had a small but great shown in a perfect location on the water (see attached pic). Thanks to the klub VW people for showing up and hope you had a great day.The best parts was going for a blast in a brand new toureg V8 through pelican waters, all I can say is the thing really hauls and stops very well.(thats waht I thought unitl later, on sunday when I went of a ride in a 5 day old R32, now that thing was fast!!!) then a drive of a new cab beetle!!!. very cool!!! arvo was boat cruise and social events, with a bbq and just good fun saturday nite.

After 2 of us had hasseled thor enough to come and race on sunday she roped kat in. Well we went out to the grounds and had ball sliding around in the mud. Thor and kat did very well for their first event. Well done girls!!! Few things happened, Thor did get bogged, and thor does need a nav system to remeber the course, while kat just drove well all day. There was a mix of cars and driver skills, including the 5 day old R32 cutting up the grass all day and doing well (darn the 4WD!!!!) a well known VW owner flogging the hell out of a hire car, and lots of fun in the mud.

Sunday nite was pres nite with good food and lots of fun. and the trphy's awarded.

well thats a short sum up and perth in 2005 here we come!!!!

I will get all the results from john tommorrow nite at the exec meeting. Well these are only some of seans pics. Well some plans are afoot to try and mabye make a sub group within the club for motorsport and have a few things happening. but I will have to talk to the rest of the commetie first. Its ok i don't mind lending you the car, as long as you had fun. We just wanted as many ppl racing as possible and to keep ppl racing. I will get a cams form to you soon, so that you can get it sent away. Hope john and I didn't freak you out on the weekend, we can be pretty full on sometimes, and I was in a Really full on mood on the weekend, normally iam the opposite, very quiet and boring.

thorun unless u have a photo editing program such as photoshop........pretty much the only way to make the file size smaller is to make the actual picture smaller......u need software that can reduce the quality of the picture therefore making the file smaller
