Wheel help

Hi

This a picture of an old wheel I had on my car in early 90s, its a 7x15 Performance wheel. Does anyone know the backspace on these wheels?

Steve

They're the globes (?) aren't they?

I know someone here (NZ) with 14 inch ones on his VW based scratch built.

I'll see what I can find out or send him the link here.

Cheers
Jeremy

I have a set of 15/7 Bathurst Globes here. I'll measure them tonight if ya want. From memory it was 140/145 mm from the rim edge to the centre on the inside but I'll have ta check. If your chasing any other info ask John Sherman from Volksconversion's

Dragged me arse into the shed: The backspace is 110mm on the globes. Perfermance wheels make a copy and will machine the distances that you want. The globes that I have use the original VW bolts to hold them on. The performance ones dont but they come with all bolts etc and centrecaps. They look good but slightly different in the centres to the Globes. HTH

Hi

Thanks for your replies, the reason I ask is becasue I want buy some wheels that have the same backspace to fit a superbug and I dont want to have to go the expense of small coilspring struts, I know these fitted my car without any spacers. I have wider guards so they should fit under OK.
