What is the compresion ratio of a 1600


Just wondering what the compresion ratio is in a 1600TP. As i need to decide if to decompress it further if I add a turbo.

is it in a bug or type 3 ?
most likely a bug but type 3 is 7.7 to1
or 6.6 to 1 in the (m240) not sure what that is just what my book says !

A type 3 had a higher compression ration than a Type 1 for some reason

I have a complete turbo kit ( h2o ) for a renault 2ltr ( new never used ) c/w dizzy fuel injection rail ect .This has the adapter to fit a australian spec motor .In case you wish to go renault !
