cleaning the oil cooler
hey all, just wondering what is the best way to clean the oil cooler....i pulled it off today..and it is all clogged with crap...and the spare one is
the same....so i thought i could just clean it...
should i use degreaser? or what?

To clean the external surfaces yes use Kero or Petrol or Degreaser.
You can also use on the internals as well make sure you drain and wash it out.
If you have a engine blow or fail and theres a chance metal has been through it then get a new or good S/H one

fill it up with kero or soemthing and let it soak overnight. Cover the holes and shake it and rinse it out a few times with kero until all the gunk
has come out, make sure there is no left over crap or there could be an engine failure
