what is the paint type i should be using to repaint my tinware normal enamel etc or heat proof ie engine enamel

You can use Enamel no problems with heat.

VHT Brake Caliper Paint, it goes on real easy, can handle hot temperatures and is chemical resistant!

Works for me

I used VHT spray can epoxy black.
