Meeeee?????
No no no Drew.......I ain't telling any tales...........!!!!
And yes i am eagerly awaiting the crappy pics I took ----- there are some rather unflattering images in there i think...

But I didin't do anything......!!!!!!! I am innocent of any stuff ups....except perhaps the grave mistake of getting a ride with Kat in the beetle ------- I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE TYPE 3!!!!!!!! the only reliable option!!!! heheheh

But it was nice to be driven around in a beetle -- and thanks for letting me drive your beetle too Drew --- I was having a bit of VOLKSWAGEN ENVY
First the shiny vws at Clevland...
Then all the power of your soupped up beetles...
BUT I got in my T3 to drive home....and yes...i love my t3....loud...a little slow....but definately my kind of vehicle......

Now KAT.....I believe this is your story to tell....not mine

do you know if kat got home? knowing johns repair work, she may have only made it under the underpass!!!! :P well she better have a look at what happened. I have a feeling it was vapour lock in the fuel lines, but then again I could be very wrong.

well its ok to have a go at him about his BO, he stank in the morning when we left. Hes pretty good at fixing stuff, just has some weird ideas thats all. well yeah that car is pretty cool. but I think unless its really lumpy off road stuff my road car should be better on dirt.

ohhhh BIX you in trouble now!

RIGHT!....

SURE i'll own up not a prob! On Sunday Thorun and i went to KLUB VW Bayside FEST which was a great day! At about lunch time we decided to head off, pick up a mate of mine, drop THorun's car off at a friend's place, get a digital camera for John and head out to Willowbank to see wat this racing stuff is REALLY about! All was well... we stopped in at the Mobil about 5mins from the raceway to get burgers for Drew and John... so in a way this is all Drew's fault! LOL! :P ;) ;)

When we went to leave the Mobil, Millie made this little popping sound, she started ok and we got about 20 meters down the road and she wouldn't accellerate. At first i thought i must've snapped the accellerator cable but it still had tension so we got out to have a 'look' at the motor. Well we looked at it for a while... kept looking at it.... talked a bit... had another look and then went... hhrrmm have no BLODDY IDEA wats wrong... we'll call Drew n John! hehehe

So the phone call was made and about 20min later Drew n John were there. A couple mins later the diagnosis was made that she had a vapour lock in the fuel line/pipe thingo. As you can tell im totally into the technically side of thingies! It was cleared by John and away Millie went again! I had gotten fuel from Brissy that day and usually i get my fuel from the same place so mayb it was something to do with dodgy fuel... *shrugs* OH well...

I guess with doin up this Baja and racing im gunna learn a LOT MORE... Millie got a stern talkin to last night about telling me if she's not well BEFORE she decides to kark it! All is well and YES THORUN i did get home fine ty!

Love you guys! you're always a good laff! and Thanks to Thorun for talkin me out of *gasp* giving Millie to the wreckers and to John n Drew for sacraficing the rest of their race arvo and helping me out!

Ciao
Kat

LMAO!!!!!

good to hear you got back safely Kat!!!

yes...the baja project is gunna be a crash course in mechanics for you --- but that is awesome i reckon!!! wish i had my own project to learn with....but hope that you will let me help out /learn/stuff things up right along with you!

thanks for giving me a lift ------ and thanks for hanging out yesterday - it was fun -- and yes...you lot are crazy mfs and always good for a laugh!!!!!

am sorry that the day ended up the way it did....but...sigh ...such is life!!!

it was still a great day -- and even if we had have turned up to willowbank only to discover that all racing ppl are wanker petrol head sexist shits....... i doubt that would have stopped us!!!!

i think that you are safely addicted to this motorkhana stuff......and i am all for it too!!! even if i never figure out how to do the handbrake turn thingo the right way.......i still think it is gunna be heaps of fun....i just dont want to be one of the lame-os who is really crap at racing.......and who ppl only tolerate because i'm a chick....i dont want to be a shit chick racer heheheh.............

so.......NEXT TIME we are going in the type 3 (hehehe - no offence to millie...) and NEXT TIME we are not going to try and cram 2 events into one day!!!

talk to you soon hun - and thanks for a great day --- thanks drew and john for saving the day, as always......

catch up with you all soon thor xxxxxxxx:kiss

Heya Kat and Thor. I don't know how fast you are on the track, but at Cleveland you were sure zipping around on your feet. I wanted to come and say G'day a couple of times, but I also had to make sure my Son wasn't being crushed by a Bug. Each time I turned around to find you again, you'd dissappeared.

Oh well! At least I scored a full set of CV's for Bluna for $40. Rockin'!
