GAH!!!
There are way too many stories like this posted way too often, IMHO!
Last night some pricks decided to badge my girlfriends new car, at first it looked like only the rear badge had been swiped with only minor
scratching... Still, $50 for a new badge is a some what of a sting.
Then she checked the front tonight and even though the badge is still there they dented the hell out of the bonnet trying to get it off, the ALUMINIUM
BONNET!!!! :cussing:cussing:cussing:cussing:cussing:cussing
These pricks need to be taught some respect, hard working people who work for years to earn something nice shouldn't have to foot the bill for some
losers idea of fun.
It was in Elsternwick, last night. If anyone knows of someone who scored a new Nissan badge I will pay a reward for their info.

In all seriousness Cam, if and when she gets it fixed, you may like to entertain the thought of not putting the badges back on until you have some
where you can always safely put it away locked up or behind a gate.
I know a few guys that have removed very carefully their original HSV badges and put copy stickers on, so they dont get knocked off.
Those sorts of people should have their testicles (if they have them) electrocuted.
If there are any dingbat kids out there contemplating badging a car, just drop in to a panel shop an f@%king ask for some old badges. I know I would
give a kid a handfull and say "Yeah knock yaself out kiddo"
If you have already taken badges off a car, but don't any more, guilt on you. Think how you would feel if someone took the badges off a VW you own,
let alone any car.
If you are taking badges off cars and are going to take more off, then be ready to lead a poor and unfulfilling life if that is your way of getting
kicks.

This sort of s**t is just so stupid, i hate idiots that go round pinching badges. A while ago my old bus had its vw badge and its volkswagen script
stolen from it when it was parked behind a fence in my front yard:cry so i understand how angry you must be feeling:cussing
Alex.

Food for thought (Told this story before but it may help you)
As you may/may not know but i work for O'Briens Windsceens and see break-ins , damage to cars everyday. It sucks as very rarely do they get caught ,
F**kers!!!
HOWEVER................................
2 guys not young either broke into this guys car. After breaking a window and in the middle of ripping the guy off he saw them out of his bedroom
window.
Instead of running out guns blazing he slowly crept up the car . One of these dickheads was sitting in the drivers seat , door open and with his hand
raised and placed on the roof line of the car i.e where the door frame shuts against.
This guy crept over to the car and slammed the door not only stopping the guy from running but also breaking 3 of his fingers and a dislocating his
wrist! LOL, LOL !!!. The other guy got out and took a swing at him so he flattened him with 1 punch and called the cops. Cops were fine and the 2 got
taken away!
Doesn't happen very often but when it does!
Don't let them get you down although it's easy to say that when your not paying the repair bills!

My (late) Father had his hood ornament stolen whilst
parked at a funeral once. He was understandably pissed!
Cant these people just pierce their genitals if they want
some kicks? Or why don't they attack moving vehicles?
"Extreme Badging", now that sounds like fun with a
capital "PH"! The Manx/Baja boys and girls would
have a ball with those kinds of speed bumps!

Peter, do you know where I can get some stickers like what you mentioned?
Sounds like we've all had our encounters with no good little punks. I can't understand why people can't appreciate something. These people are
obviously not car enthusiasts. Perhaps I should go down to chapel st on friday with my maglite and await any pulsar, EXA or sylvia with a shiny new
Nissan badge :bounce

I may have been an accessory to badging. When I bought by Beetle, there was a VW badge tied to the thing that has the gear shift pattern on it (is it
an ash tray? I've never actually opened it).
As far as I can tell it's not from my car.
It sucks to hear about your car. It always makes me sad to see people hurting nice cars.
