where did you get the chrome strip for the radio block off? i need one for mine.

I think I picked the radio panel with chrome strip up at a swap meet....one of those lucky finds...she had a plain piece of metal there when I got
her...
What have you got planned for your dash??.......I'm going to have to watch out for it....

I've been shopping again for bits and came across this roof rack
It apparently came off of a 58 imported beetle and was an accessory that came with it...it's made in Sweden..
The old guy said it came with the car the day he bought it....
Anyone seen one like it before? It's unusual...and so I got it....

It's a very different roof rack....really not too sure how effective it will be...sorta nothing to sit things on...they'd have to be long enough to
rest and be tied firm so they don't slip off and scratch the nice new paint on the roof....don't think it's the most practicl of racks but
certainly different
I love the radio...gunna clean it up...hope to find a knob...gotta be one somewhere.....

Thanks Rob...I dropped in today but nothing had altered so no new pics....I had a couple of little things to drop off to them. They've been busy
doing small jobs that came in.... 
Golly it takes a long time...and so disappointing not to see a change....You wonder when you'll get to drive them again....a few months yet....

I visited Bel this morning....things are slow but she is hopefully going to the trimmers next week fingers crossed...
They've still been working on her wiring...so pics of wires...they have her looking very neat...her wiring used to be an absolute nightmare...
The semaphores are in and work...
Tail lights are on....wah hooo!!
...fog lights and reversing light not hooked up yet.......soon
Deck lid is off and those number plate holes welded up...waiting to be painted now as is solid exterior visor which is in primer...
