Hah, that reminds me..
I drove from my house (in the country when I was a kid) to the local town which is about 5 miles away on a gravel road.. It was a blowing wet,
miserable night
Anycase, when I got to the shops I heard this wailing, crying sound coming from under the car.. I checked it out and there was one of our kittens
perched on the stub axle, soaking wet.
The stupid bugger had jumped up there to get out of the rain and had gone for a ride all the way into town.. Bloody amazing.. Just imagine living
through that!!!

You guys all sound like potheads!
I only found boring stuff, including some old newspapers, fan belts, a few different wrenches, and an old jack: took me a while to figure out how that
worked. There was also a heap of that horrid woody pine-needle-like crap that is on the rear/under of the seats, all over the place. I take it those
are original seats (74 baywindow), because no-one would put such crappy seats in as replacements. The passenger one has kinda collapsed!
I also read somewhere an article about regular maintenance, what you're supposed to do. It said something about trying not to drop a spark plug,
because the tinware makes it hard to fish out. If you do though, it advised, don't worry, just leave it there with all the other plugs dropped by
previous owners. Guess what I found pulling an engine out of a pick-a-part Kombi? About FIVE spark plugs, all from the same cylinder. I had a good
laugh at that.
