computer geniuses!! help needed
how do i reduce pic size so i can email it and post it on the forum. i can only get 2 pics into an email b4 it is too big
plz help!

Most graphics/image software can help. If you've got a digital camera or a scanner, chances are it came with some free software that is good
enough.
1. Resize your photo so it's not really wide/high. Usually a maximum size of 500 pixels high or wide is plenty for people to enjoy the pic.
2. Make sure you save photos as a .jpg or .jpeg file (other file types such as .bmp are much bigger for the same pic).
3. You can "compress" a .jpg or .jpeg so it is even smaller - set the options in your software as you save the pic so the compression (sometimes
called "quality") is about medium or 50%.
If you follow all the steps above, your image will be around 30kb - 50kb which is small enough to email or post here.

If you want a freeware pic manipulator go to http://www.irfanview.com and download
the programme or u2u me you email and i will send a link
It is a good programme

yeti another option:
to get the pikky up, cropp the wasted space outta the background then shrunk it to max 500x500 pixels 75% quality with easy thumbnails ( http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/ ) then attach this with the attachment browse at
the bottom of the post page...
works for me... |
