Fitting parcel self for beetle?

Does any body have a pic or some advise of how low or high the cane style parcel self sits under the dash?
Ordered one today but they dont come with the L brackets so does any body know what the original brackets looked like or how they where attached?

Once you place it in the car you will know where it fits properly. give your self plenty of foot room when using the clyutch n brake pedals.

Get someone to hold it in position while you try your usual seating position.

YEah as i said before get some one else to hold it while your sitting in the car.

I think the gap between the dash n the tray is about 4 inches or so
