hello, need some help
Hi. Im a new owner of a beetle 1967 and i need some help. There is a white knob on the floor next to the gear stick which can be turned. i havent been
able find out what it is for. Can someone please help?

That is the Heater knob Patty Lou...
Have a look at this Owners manual for a 65-66 Beetle
It will be the same as Your Beetle... http://www.geocities.com/vwsite2001/

Well Pattylou,
I saw a pic of Your Beetles cabin but nothing to say how they worked..
Well: You rotate the knob Anticlockwise to bring the heater into action.. the more You turn the hotter it will get.
Please note, this only works when the engine gets HOT... which normally is only a few minutes..
