Mate dont worry about full just check it when the gauge reads hald and 1/4 empty these are more important.

I did that with my SMOOTHIEEE i was worring bout thefull mark but lets face it thats not when u run outta petrol.

just check those positions and even the reserve one as well.

OH yeah i forgot to say i could be wrong bout the 60 as well, but from memory it sounds like a good figure.

I know a Beetle 40hp and type 3 are definitly 40 litres.
