clearence on a beetle

what is the most clearance i can get on a beetle, and still have it streetable??? i used to have 15 inches on my old swingaxle, and that was with 235 75 r15's on the back, and 14 inch light trucks on the front, i want some serious height, i am considering redux hubs to get the gearing down, any suggestions
