air bags


hi all

well i new to this forum, i just want to know has any one successfully bagged a type 3 station wagon, does it lay it out, has any one got any pics of one layed out.eg scrappin on ground

i come from the mintruckin scene currently with a hilux on bags. but they are getting to comon and i want a classic

but before i buy one i just need to know if it will be easy done thanks in advance

i had a mate with a type 3 squareback on hydro's.... it worked great, so i don't see any reason why air bags wouldnt be possible.

DUde, Rear is quite easy, but your right the front is a real problem....IT is real easy to hydro any vw, just replace the shocks with cylinders, and for ride quality get some accumulators....Im currently working on my 63 bug that will be riding full air bags.... Check out the "the bug" thread in members rides.....

Good stuff coming to the dub side...

theres a company thats at Autosalon every year, maybe contact Autosalon

his a black dude that imports them from the states he told me its $1500 to control front and back or $2700 to control all 4 bags

central coast. there is a shop called 'the chopper shop' in west gosford. they do custom harleys and bag kits for cars. last i was there i saw a hilux flat on its guts. absolutely awesome.
