Saving for things really does suck. Not being the most patient of people when it comes to saving for new bits for my 67. Currently living like a student so i can order my new rims , some Erco's.

What are you saving for?

ahhhh. saving. if i could save on ausstudy this is a short list of the things i would be saving for:
- a new winter wardrobe
- my rego due at the end of the month (eeeeeeeek! )
- a new paint job for the T3
- my CAMS license (yes drew, i haven't forgotten)
- VALLA
- a funky new haircut and a facial and some other girlie pampering like fancy moisturiser and hair goop and all manner of hair products in fact and maybe even an eyelash tint (hello in my dreams!!!!!!)
- my trip to Melbourne for my dear friend's 40th (hello credit card)
- bond for when i move house soon (hello mum and dad)
- my uni text books for next semseter (oh, hello again credit card!)
- some new seals for the windows of the T3 (oh, hello rusty doors)
- a LAPTOP (oooooooooh)
- postage so i can send the gifts i bought (on my credit card) to my friends o/s
- a horse (i iknow i know....but you only live once...and if i run out of petrol for the dub i can always ride to uni...)
hmmmmmmm.
the list is virtually endless!!!!
thankgod i have 2 credit cards.
thankgod i always have a bus ticket and a phone card in my wallet!!!
thankgod i have 2 credit cars (oops, did i say that already?)
thankgod you can pay rego on credit cards.
thankgod you can pay virtually EVERYTHING by credit card.
thankgod i am not someone who needs matierial things to make themselves feel like a complete and whole person, thankgod i don't judge my own sucess by the "things" that i possess thankgod my friends still see me as a valid human even if i don't have the latest ipod or video mobile or funkiest sneakers.
but thankgod it is free to daydream about all the stuff i would like to buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trying to save for a custom exhaust for the type IV (in my bug) - that is going to hurt the bank balance.

Also need to put some aside for the order coming from CB performance (credit card) plus the mallory unilite dizzy from aircooled.net (that is really going to hurt).

Of course there is a thing called a wedding in October as well - better put a few dollars aside for that (now it is really hurting).

ouch.

2: saving to put a lick of paint on my 76 bus,
3: adjustable spring plates to help me change the rear tyres if i get a flat
(bit hard to get em out at the moment)

Hmmmm

Just watched the TopGear video of the Mercedes McLaren SLR motor car ... and well lets just say that there was no need for porn to get me off ...

That car is unbelievable!!! I had a friend watch it who despite his best intentions is a die hard Ford fan, who is anti everything from Germany (I think just to spite me) and even he was left stunned, amazed and begging for more. It's a shame its an automatic, but hey if I had a car like that I wouldn't want to be held up with changing gears and such, when the left hand could be better used for fondling whatever hottie is in the passenger seat!

If you haven't seen this car - do yourself a favour and get this clip! ...and don't forget the tissue box!

hmmmm Savings = $123.37
McLaren Mercedes SLR ~ $600,000.00

...not long to go now :)
