whos on-line thats got a splitty???
whos on that has a splitty as I need to know the colour of wires and where they go on the bak of the fuel gauge........please please

Rob,
Mine has brown as the ground wire, and a kinda mauve or pink with a brown spiral stripe to positive. (Black to the light)

think I've got it sort...I think,well its working but the bus is 12v and I got the gauge from a 58/59 splitty(6 volt).
will put my tester on the wire from the tank to see the voltage.
though it looks like there are different coloured wires in some years....?
