I don't suppose these are legal are they? They look like a good way of getting lift. I had a look at the blindchickenracing site ages ago and saw them there.

Any opinions? I guess no-one does the mod for a reason in Aust?

Huh, rightio then, simple as that!!

Will they ever be able to be 'snuck' through by bending rules etc?? What about the new rules? Or are they just too dangerous for a road situation
and peoples' peace of mind to be allowed?

they will never be allowed, simple.... It would be way to easy to stuff up the weld on the castings and kill someone. I would only ever weld my own and even then would never use them on a Road Registerd car

someone had some cast up specially so they were not welded and got them sorted within the ADRs?

They would probably have to supply about a million pairs for testing, and even then they may not be passed....
