2L gearbox output shaft.

simple to do?

any special tools required?

do you mean Output Flanges


The output Flanges are a Circlip and very simple, but if youthe shafts coming out of the differential its a skilled job with special tool. Your talking preloads, clearances and backlash . If your running a v8 get it done by a shop (and a good one at that)
P.s 4789km W of Perth is very wet........ lol
