Rails and altereds?
Just wondering how the guys that were looking into the rails got on. Ill be finished my engine this year and havnt got a car to put it in and am
currently thinking Front engine dragster like the paradise car. Possibly with shorter wheelbase and a second or two slower though.
Just Curious what the guys ended up finding out about chassis's etc.

Not much happened, there is a rail chassis on the market (only tacked) with rebuilt powerglide + spare, mounted slicks +spare slicks, spindle mount
front wheels, rear engined. U2U oval glen.
Spyder-WISD 07-09-05 11.6s @ 125 MPH
Speedster-WISD Nats 05 14.4s @ 89 MPH
Jet cruiser-Coogee 22-09-05 900 deg C @ 110,000 rpm

Are you specifically after a rail or altered or just a chassis to put your engine in ?
I like the idea of a manx style chassis with a single hoop over the driver
Kinda like the newer style altereds. Could be nice and light too.

Anything really but FED's appeal to me a lot. Bantam altereds too. Dont want anything too long either. ie no 200inch dragsters |
