Mind if I ask how much did it cost you to knock together Neil ?
I've been needing one of these on the bug for ages.

I had some ss tube left over from some jobs & some ss fittings I machined up .I have fish mouthed the tube where the air filter fits on ,so it is

you tap into the rocker covers and fit a fiting in this case 1/2 bsp male ,you can then run a fitting from the oil filler same size 1/2 bsp male .the
breather box bolts up to the fan cover .
Um I have a nutcert gun for that ! puts a female thread to sheet metal .

hey that looks like a pretty small box? and what size lines are you running I found 1/2 on the rockers and 3/4 on the original breather is enough, but
any less and it doen't work.
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

I have a cams book I will have a look , I would say yes !
Yes I have made a heap of these for the off road guys ,I dont have one is stock but I can make one to show you .Do you have a need for one ? if so
fitting sizes you require and any placement of the fitting you need
I make to order if you have a exact spot you need the fittings mounts ect .
I have been doing diff pots as well to 1 ltr capacity aslo ,auto box pots
as we needed these on our race car * the auto has around 18 ltrs capacity !

Neil, I want to mount it under the fuel tank on the passenger side of the beetle, same position as the brake master cylinder but on passenger side!
I will call to discuss.
Cheers

vents crankcase pressure. seagull, those ss braided plumbing lines may not be oil proof. I think they're rubber-lined...reasonably temp resistant,
but check the lining, yeh?

they don't cool at all. they alloow the pressure build up in ur engine to escape and trap any oil vapour that my be in it. It stopped my seals from
leaking.

Mmmmm...reduction in oil leaks.. Always good. To use an Americanism, trying to stop the oil leaks on my motors is like playing Whack-a-mole.
You think a breather would have any effect on the 1800 type 4 in my kombi? Oil's always forcing its way out everywhere!
If at first you don't succeed. Build, build again.

I made one for my oil spiting beast and it worked just fine , I have a few out there now .
Some of the guys may have not fitted there units as yet .
I think the way I will go is to make the stainless steel housing with 1/2 bsp female fittings welded on and guys can purchase the hose tails or hose
as they require .This saves on post , and guys can fit a 90 deg elbow or othere size hose adapter as required , I am alo trying to find a lower cost
filter as for what I am selling these for I dont make a real % on .I had a big job on the go with off cuts of tube and some welding time to spare .
