top ten ways to procrastinate
ok, i have a lot of study to do --- 3 weeks worth of exams and a fair bit of readings to catch up with before i can properly revise.............
so, in the face of all this doom and stress............
this is how i am spending my time
1. cigarette breaks......lots of them
2. sudden overwhelming desire to CLEAN (the kitchen, the bathroom, the floors, my bedroom, the windows, dusting....all of it , you name it, i am
cleaning it)
3. cooking. i have cooked more soups and more casseroles and more biscuits than ever before in my life. i even got down the cookbooks that no one has
ever looked at and made lists of the things i am going to cook this week.
4. AussieVeedubbers.com!!!!!!!!!!!!
5. my car. cleaning it (especially) fixing brake lights, polishing it, looking at the oil....all of it
6. cigarettes...or did i already mention that??? cigarettes and cups of coffee and pots of tea.........
7. writing mammoth emails to all the people that i never get around to emailing....................sudden urge to write to/phone up people that i
normally would only write to once a year
8. stressing about my love life (see other posts by me........)
9. sudden strange urges to do the gardening, do loads of washing, put a treatment through my hair, wax my legs, paint my nails, wash the dog ----- all
this irrelivant and time consuming things that should be last on the list of "to do" but are suddenly WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN STUDY
10. re-organising my desk/stationary/high lighters/ finding a stapler etc etc. because we all know that you can't actually absorb any information
unless all your stationary is in order and your desk is tidy...........
sigh.
study. got to love it. |

topic for my assignment is comparison of three different network storage solutions (direct attached storage, network attached storage and storage area
networks) as well as a discussion on the benefits of a virtual private network in a WAN environment
what fun |

i am racking up a huge HECS debt in order to become the perfect HOUSEWIFE ie. since i began studying all the cooking, cleaning, loads of washing, jam
making, soup making etc etc amounts to more than the time i have actually spent doing my study..............
sigh.
its kinda depressing actually! |

All over on Friday for this semester! Looking forward very much to it.

Instead of study.. do any of you have the capability (not just learner MS frontpage rubbish) to design a nice corporate website?..
I figure, if your going to be in front of a monitor.. One of the screens might as well be open on a $$ producing project..
I need one pretty quickly for a new business but don't want to spend great $$ until I have the backend sorted.. So for now I just need a nice front
page and about 4-6 subpages.. I've got the content and the graphic.. You just need to hang it all together.. $500.00 Bucks
Check this out.. something like this is ideal.. http://www.visa-aust.com.au
Let me know..

I'd love to do something like that, and I have studied it abit. But I don't know much at all about the moving graphics type stuff.
I've mainly got experience in the database coding behind webpages. |

Just get lil dub to move in during exam time. Your own personal, fully trained and almost qualified "housewife. heheheh". Most people clean their
houses with no training at all, don't know how they do it.

ahhh yes. the untrained housecleaner!
well, i have no FORMAL qualifications (aside from the HECS debt)
but i do have the kind of ENTHUSIASM for housework that is very hard to come by.
there aint to many people out there at this point in time who are as into housework as i am at the moment.
dont worry. it'll only last for swot vac and utnil june 28 (last exam)
then i will be back to my usual student slovenly ways......... |
