Flareing guards.

OK so here is the deal,
I lower the front of the bug, it looks good,
hit a bump and i scrape, have two decent sized blokes in the front and i don't need the bump to scrape.

Has any one flared the guards and do you have photos.

I know that you can get fibre glass guards that are wider but to my knowledge they are expensive. (like these)

So pics of what flared guards look like would be good and advice from any one that has had it done.

cheers lee.

I have seen flared steel guards, they slit the outer edge and then welded in triangle of metal. a very long and careful job. If your good at it it may be the way to go?
