are those flared guards? if so, where did u get the rear ones? ive got flared guards on my bug but with the big elephant foot tail lights from a
superbug (mines a 68) and seeing as how im going to be doing some cosmetic stuff to my car this chrisy hols, i wanna change the rear taillights to
original ones.
its looking good! but take the eyelids off if you are putting a kit on it, and get some driving lights for the front bumper.
i may be selling my kit/bits of my kit soon so let me know if you are interested.
in the beginning, the universe was created.
this made alot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.

Pick your wheels carefully.
You need to lower the front of a super to get t look and handle.
IF you are going Porsche pattern or wide at the front you need to get thin springs - which means a new strut set up.
You want to make sure the offset is right and the wheel fills the guard.
Wide guards with a fat wheel sitting 4" in looks stupid. A normal wheel filling the guard would look heaps better.
It is all about offset.
I has running 195's x 16" under stock guards on the front of mine.
My friend is running 17" x 7" under stock guards.

Hi mate I spoke to you and your dad at the drive inn night
I have the V8 kombi. You do need to lower it. It’s coming up fine, although I'm not a fan of the Porsche kits this is looking alright. i would go
for bigger wheels in width and diameter you need to fill out the guards as blue74l said.
Ps: if you want a front beam that’s adjustable let me know i want $150 for it
Cheers
Ron

pretty sure its a Super - a 1302
It has the wide nose.
With super's it's all about getting the nose right.
Look at Steve C's yellow bug.
Yes - he was running wide aero guards but he had the wheels to suit it.
Deiter Holzl is running 7"s under tghe front with stock.
That is his car in the V Force add in VWA - the green one with a selection of wheel's
Even ran some 18" under stock

Bout time someone said something, what should be done first lowering or wheels also what wide wheels can you get for a 4 bolt beetle? I Like The ATS
ones, (similar 2 globe stars on XD falcons) But they wouldn't look 2 good on this i think, Also Porsche wheels are way 2 expensive for me, and it has
a theme at the moment of the $20 dub, Bodykit and steering wheel were both$20 so i gave it a suiting name |

yet from volkshaven, have you got the side parts to go with the kit? |

my opinion mate, get rid of that body kit, run it stock but slam it all the way down, dannyboy67 on here has some porsche phone dials like u want for
around $600 with adaptors, sell that body kit and buy them, put them on and roll it like that. just my 2 cents.

Yeah get rid of the kit and go back to the original guards. Then buy CT Hansens Sprintstars [fullnoise] off EBAY - currently $400 [a steal]. Then drop
the front and the back and the rake of your car could get to mine. Check the pic.

It's dropped about 2 inches all around. It now handles much better on the F3 - doesn't wander as much at speed, however need to be careful over
speedhumps - and getting out of the driveway
