how do i make the exterior body trim on my deluxe 70 kombi shine again?

If you really want it to come up ace, get a metal polisher to work them over. They can get a mirror finish depending on the original condition of the trim and the amount of money you wish to pay.

Otherwise by hand some 'Mothers', 'Meguires', or 'Briteshine' available from auto parts stores will bring it up a bit, depending on how much elbow grease you have.

is there also some kind of process "anodised"sp?? other than just polish/brute force?

Anodising will cost a fair bit, you will have to speak to a metal polisher or two to find out exactly what they can and cannot do.

i thought the trim was all aluminium? if so then some solid buffing should bring up pretty great results
