New Engine Config

Ok guys,

I just need some advise about the config for my trusty old 1600tp engine. It has come to the stage where I have a plethora of parts laying around the house, so I'm thinking about either using them all, or selling them.

The engine is completely stock at the moment, but I was wondering what sort of improvements I can achieve with the addition of:
- 009 Bosch Dizzy
- 2110 Holley bugspray carb
- Merged 4 to 1 extractors (1" diam)

Is it worth the trouble or will it only give mediocre results?

Cheers
Tnate

Melbourne? no heat risers? that bug spray might have troubles. What condition is it in?

If your nnormal dizzy is working well i would leave it on...the 009 is ok, but...

Is the exhaust a propper equal length header or a cheapo econo exhaust. That will add a bit if it is a good one.

Yeah i think it was Wes who had one on his girlfriends car(?) but they were Brisban-ites.
I ran a Prog for a couple of yeahs with out heat in Sydney but that was a good carb. Unless it was in real good nick i think i would pass.
