I was looking at something like this on my trip to America. Sorry about the drawing but you can get the idea. The black is the pan, frame horns and
the shock towers. The red is the 4130moly rod and the blue bits are adjustable rod ends.
It’s suppose to stop axle hop and prevent the horns from flexing.

You can seam weld the forks on the chassis as well to reinforce that area too

stitch-weld your chassis horns and run braces from the end of your chassis horns UP to the bodyshell at the parcel shelf floor area behind the rear
seat (I assume you have a beetle?). A flat steel/alloy bar across the floor here, with the uprights bolted to it (throug the shell)and attatched to
the inner guards will make it nice n stiff.
Adjustable rod ends are no good - they allow movement!! Stitch-welding the shell also helps a little bit, too

Klaack Motors race car which my brother
now has - they welded a square tube
frame on the inside of the fire wall.
My brother bolted in a couple of steel
braces from this frame down to the
Horn ends - tied in with his solid engine
mounts at this location.Yes also welded
joins on horns.
- also rear engine brace tied to body,
" He dont get no Movement "
