Hey Barls,
Good luck, are you doing the whole german look thing, de-chromed and shaved?.
I reckon that you kind of have to with a super beetle, it would be a shame to have all that strut suppension go to waste.

ive decided on cal look rubbers, saas steering wheel, sport seats out of ether a pulsar or lancer( yet to be decided), stock box with reinforcing
straps around it, empi trigger shifter and my kenwood head unit and 6 stacker, 2 6" 3 ways in the front and 2 6x9s in the back.

Dr L has an old saas steering wheel...I love it...
It was on him and is staying...but I have been told it might be part of his wiring problems...Apparently Type 3's don't like sports steering
wheels...Do you know anything about it

no ive still got one from beast, but i may have to replace it if i bent it when i head butted it in the crash. i can not see why it would cause a
problem cause the only thing connected to the boss is the horn and its one wire. its does not make sense to this technician.

Man, can you say lucky - right down the middle :o Thats an impressive hit... As for the jap/modern car and thin steel argument. :blah The grade of
steel purification, weight and tensile strength has progressed on par with computer technology. And although it's alot thinner nowadays, the
strength, resistance to tearing (and rotting for that matter), puncturing, stretching and so on is far less than far thicker equvelants from many
years ago.:blah

here is the one i wrought off now after the two weeks of work there is not much left on the body and its now minus the roof
and heres the new body that we are repairing the rust in before it goes to the pannel beaters to be sprayed

im running a little behind schedule now but it should be done by christmas but thats depending on the upholster. the rust is almost done now apart
from the small section that was found in the left turret after the right turret had been done, i now have a set of pop outs as well thanks Ali(aka
primate) so now i only have to source the last few items and im done as ill have every item i require
