yeah it is a bit considering its already to spray the first coat on and all the prep is done. i was expecting something like $1500 to 2500.

just started uploading the pics so here they are. as i had last week off work i thought i would do some work on chaos but since i didnt get him back
from the spray painters till tuesday i started working on modifying the fan shroud.
heres the old one
and the new one
basically ive widened the dog house to fit the t4 cooler on a 36hp shroud that i bought and cut all the necessary holes for the pipes. i also reduced
the heater pipes in side the shroud cause ill be using the suck through from the two bilge blowers i have. im happy with the way it turned out as i
did all the wielding and its only my 3rd time oxy wielding
while i was doing this chaos came back here he is fresh of the flat bed truck from the painters. hmmm nice and shiney
actually the guy did a really good job he even smoothed out the guards and roof so they are now dent free.
spent the rest of the week putting him together so he has door locks, drivers and passenger windows and all panels were tightened and fitted into
place. also fitted some sound deadener as well. here is the rest of the photos

it depends on how thin the metal is with what i did it was done in about 5 sections with a couple of tacks to to get the shape but the fan housing i
did with an oxy acetylene set and fusion wielding as its easier to control the heat so it doesnt warp as much
