Of course, but not sure if this is the right thread for elaborate spec sheets as its fairly long...
In short: 103x66mm type 4 engine
Alu-nikasil (Oettinger) cylinders, custom JE pistons;
stock crank, stock rods, stock flywheel, all massaged a bit though for better longlivety of course;
Piston squirters, case shuffle pinned.
Stock head castings (914), non-welded, just bigger valves (46x40) with Ti retainers, dual Berg VW springs.
DTA S60-pro ecu; 1000cc injectors (at 80% at 7K rpm..), Jenvey 4x48mm Throttle bodies.
Webcam 163 grind on 114LC, tool steel lightweigth T1 lifters, DLC coated as were the piston pins and rocker shafts.
Stock rockers with porsche swivel feet;
Garret Gt3076R turbo with too small hot side (8cmē);
Large air-air intercooler, water-methanol injection from Aquamist.
Gearbox is a 5-speed porsche G50 tranny with a twin-disk Kennedy 9" (228mm) set-up with black-magic disks.
Hydraulic clutch with annualar slave and in-tunnel Saco main brake cylinder.

Thats about it. In a 'normal' hot drag bug that would surely do 10's, but my heavy circuit-orientated superbeetle is 'only' getting mid-11's at about 120 mph at 1.72 60ft.

Oh, but I recently got a bigger (twin-scroll) turbo with a larger hot-side now :cool:

Hi Wally, that is a great engine u got there.
I remember about 10 years ago, when i was living in south africa, and i was making 440 hp with a mostly stock bottom-end on a type 4, 2litre, someone on shoptalk said that it could not be done (the guy was from australia) because he had a hard time doing it with a Nissan sr20. I guess that guy is eating his own words now.:cool:
Great job and love the car.
Hermann.

As its been a while since there has been updates here, I'll start off with a recent dyno pull of the same motor as my last two sheets. Only difference basically is a much bigger turbo.

Two pulls: one at 14.5 psi and one at 23.5 psi.
All hp and torque readings are at the wheels.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-RXNFC5o6Y

396 rear wheel Hp (and still climbing) 8)
It was relatively hot today though (about 30 Celcius, 85F).
